Sanitary and Phytosanitary Requirements in Lao PDR
Some goods are subject to Sanitary and Phytosanitary measures (SPS measures). You may need to get a permit from the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry. Implementing GMS Core Agriculture Support Program Phase 2 (TA- 8163 REG)
Core Agriculture Support Program Phase 2 (CASP 2) project in Myanmar started in January 2014 as the first regional technical assistance. TA inception meeting was held on 29 January 2014 in Nay Pyi Taw. Project site selection was carried out from December 2014 to January 2015. There are three main activities implemented under the LOA with the implementation period of 15 months from March 2015 to June 2016 in eight townships of Nay Pyi Taw Council territory, Mandalay and Bago Regions.
