The EU-wide label for organic food has been mandatory throughout the EU Countries since July 2010 and become compulsory after 2 years of transition in 2012. The regulation organic products are grown derive from the guidelines of IFOAM EU countries acquired comprehensive organic legislation with the implementation of the EU-Eco-regulation (1992).
