The Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation issued the regulations on the inspection of animals, animal products and animal feed for import-export and transit trade in Myanmar.

The vast majority of imported and exported commodities require a licence in Myanmar. Certain commodities require additional documentation (i.e. that a product conforms to technical standards) and sometimes even permission from certain ministries. Importing live animals, for instance, requires approval from the Ministry of Commerce.
Application for the import export of pesticides for commercial use

Labelling requirements for pesticides and fertilizers including imports
Indicates the typical fertilizer and pesticides label that should be used on fertilizer and pesticides packages and should be approved in advance by the ministry of Agriculture, forestry and fisheries. The label should also follow the defined conditions including Khmer language and safety instructions
Import prohibition of fertilizers, pesticides, and veterinary medicines, feedstuffs and feed additives which are not compliant with MAAF standards
