Pro forma invoice provides all the necessary information regarding the shipment (how many products are shipped, what are their features and dimensions). Importantly, it contains the final pricing, which helps the importer to make the final purchasing decision. It is not the true invoice, but is considered as a legally binding agreement. Pro forma invoice is prepared by the exporter.

The Sales Confirmation is the payment guarantee for goods provided by the clients. It is a pre-requisite document for the Customs Declaration

Information regarding the content, volume, and physical characteristics of the shipment. A QIP can technically cover multiple load/containers and is valid for six months

It is to certify that the goods are free of quarantine pests (Note: for apples, the shipment must also show proof that cold treatment was applied)

Packing list is a list of all goods shipped, it contain packing information as well. It serves to inform all involved parties about the content of the baggage. Packing List is prepared by the shipping company.

Issued by the Bureau of Industry and Commerce (BIC) to an “authorized food import-export agent”. In addition, the importer and exporter must comply with AQSIQ’s on-line registration requirements, which include filing relevant information regarding the company’s business scope and details.
