Vietnam Food Administration (VFA) is the management agency of the Ministry of Health. It assists the Minister of Health in the implementation of the state management on food safety of the domestic food and the imported food in the market in the whole country.
VFA is the permanent agency of the Central Inter-ministerial Steering Committee on food safety.

The Central Laboratory (Thailand) Co., Ltd. (CLT) is previously the Laboratory Center for Food and Agricultural Products Co.,Ltd.(LCFA) created on the 17th of June 2003 by virtue of the Thai Government Cabinet Resolution with a budget of 1,950 M Baht and consisted of six laboratories located in six provinces in the Kingdom of Thailand. It was then officially opened on the 17th of May 2004 envisioned to test foods and agricultural products for quality and safety and to act as a one stop and fast services of food products and commodities for exports.
