Organic Standard

The Vietnam PGS was developed under the ADDA – VietNam Farmer’s Union in 2009. It involves producer groups, consumers, supporting organizations (NGOs) as well as organic traders (companies).

Participatory Guarantee Systems (PGS) are locally focused quality assurance systems. They certify producers based on active participation of stakeholders and are built on a foundation of trust, social networks and knowledge exchange.

Moreover, to export organic products to Switzerland it is necessary to comply with the requirements of national and EC regulation into force, together with the additional requirements of Bio Suisse standards, plus receiving an inspection from the control body that controls and certify the company for EC Reg. 834/07.

Organic Thailand is the official organic label by the Department of Agriculture under the Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives of Thailand. It indicates that the product has been produced according to the Organic Thailand Agriculture Standard TAS 9001-2552

The Myanmar Fruits and Vegetable Producers Association (MFVPA) set up the Myanmar Organic Agriculture Group (MOAG) as private sector association to support organic agriculture development in the country.

In Lao PDR the inspection and certification of organic agriculture is the inspection and certification of production, processing systems, NTFP harvest and group production systems. The certification unit, Department of Agriculture, Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry.

The organic certification is administrating by government agency named CNCA and the implementation of certification according to China Organic Standard GB19630.1-4 - 2005 are perform by CQC . The certificate is valid for 1 year for the Organic mark, and the Conversion to Organic mark.

China Organic Food Certification Center (herein after referred to as “COFCC”) is a special organization responsible for organic agriculture promotion and engaged in organic-food certification and management under the Chinese Ministry of Agriculture (MOA).

Cambodian Organic Agriculture Association (COrAA) is the only organization that is authorized to give certificate for organic agricultural products. It is a nationwide private organization working for the promotion of organic and sustainable agriculture in Cambodia.

NASAA Certified Organic (NCO) is a fully-owned subsidiary of The National Association for Sustainable Agriculture, Australia (NASAA) and provides the certification services to operators within Australia and internationally. NCO is widely acknowledged as the service leader in Organic Certification focused on providing quality, cost effective organic certification. NASAA provides offshore certification services across the supply chain - from primary producers, to manufacturers, exporters and retailers.
