Natural Garden was started in 2008 and produces, distributes and retails high quality organic rice and chemical-free vegetables, fruits and other healthy products. Well-known and regarded by the public, Natural Garden owns three farms, four stores in Phnom Penh and has an online distribution channel. This enables them to manage the supply chain from the production side to the shopping basket. For production, Natural Garden provides their Khmer farmer producers technical assistance and in-kind support. They are able to increase job opportunities in various levels of the value chain as they create market opportunities, promote fair trade and different income generating activities.. The organic rice and chemical-free vegetables are certified by the Cambodian Organic Agriculture Association (COrAA). Aurelien says that the good name and good reputation of Natural Garden is what is most important for the enterprise to grow as consumers familiar with the brand and now for ten years. They now have about 60 staff members and expecting to grow and open new stores in the future.
