OMIC Bangkok Laboratory was established in 1954 for quality inspection of rice exported to Japan. The laboratory is on the Foreign Official Laboratories list published by the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare of Japan, and analyses major agricultural exports such as Rice, Tapioca and Sugar.

Central Laboratory (Thailand) Company Limited

The Central Laboratory (Thailand) Co., Ltd. (CLT) is previously the Laboratory Center for Food and Agricultural Products Co.,Ltd.(LCFA) created on the 17th of June 2003 by virtue of the Thai Government Cabinet Resolution with a budget of 1,950 M Baht and consisted of six laboratories located in six provinces in the Kingdom of Thailand. It was then officially opened on the 17th of May 2004 envisioned to test foods and agricultural products for quality and safety and to act as a one stop and fast services of food products and commodities for exports.
