Lao People's Democratic Republic: Status and Potential for the Development of Biofuels and Rural Renewable Energy
This study aims to formulate a strategic policy framework in the Lao People's Democratic Republic to promote and develop renewable energy resources to improve rural living conditions and reduce poverty without endangering food security.
It provides insights on how to overcome challenges in developing renewable alternative sources of energy to help power the country’s economic growth. The country can capitalize on its favorable climate and vast land and labor to begin a national strategy for renewable energy.
