This edition of the GMS e-Updates features the 20th GMS Ministerial Conference held on 9-10 September in Nay Pyi Taw, Myanmar.

The main events during the conference were the Senior Officials' Meeting (SOM), Development Partners’ Meeting, a plenary/formal Ministerial Meeting, and an informal, closed-door Ministerial Retreat.

The Seventh GMS Economic Corridors Forum (ECF-7) was also held on 11 June 2015 in Kunming, PRC. It was attended by over 200 participants including officials from key central government agencies in GMS countries, provincial authorities, private sector representatives, international development organizations, and other institutions.

GMS e-Updates provides information about key activities and major developments in the GMS as the six countries sharing the Mekong River strive to accelerate the region’s development.
