Infection Prevention and Control Assessment Findings

Conducted by Ministry of Health, Lao PDR, June–December 2018

Twelve provincial and 38 district hospitals in Lao PDR were assessed for Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) readiness and practices during June–December 2018. Border and remote hospitals in provinces and districts targeted under the Loan 3465/G0516-Lao: Health Security Project were selected as assessment sites. The comparison of IPC components and practices/performance by provincial and district hospitals in Lao PDR were presented at the completion of the assessment.
