Business Opportunities in the GMS: Agriculture and Environmental Sustainability

The Business Opportunities in the GMS: Agriculture and Environmental Sustainability was held on 4-5 June 2024 in Bangkok, Thailand. The meeting evaluated opportunities for the private sector in agriculture and environment sector projects in the GMS and presented and discussed select projects to increase private sector engagement in the GMS program and to strengthen dialogue  between governments and the private sector and to identify shared priority areas and explore potential collaboration. It also provided an overview of how ADB supports private sector projects at the upstream and project phases.  The GMS Secretariat in cooperation with the ADB Private Sector Operations Department (PSOD), Office of Markets Development and Public–Private Partnership (OMDP), and Climate Change and Sustainable Development (CCSD) organized the meetings.
