6th Meeting and 3rd Training of the Task Force on Trade and Investment

The 3rd workshop and 6th meeting of the Greater Mekong Subregion Task Force on Trade and Investment (GMS TFTI) was held on 9-11 October 2024 in Hanoi, Viet Nam.

The two-day workshop featured speakers from the Asian Development Bank’s Trade and Supply Chain Finance Program, the Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam, and independent trade consultants. These experts shared their knowledge with potential users of trade and supply chain finance. The workshop also explored topics such as digital trade agreements and other aspects of cross-border digital trade. Over 120 participants joined the event, both virtually and in person.

The TFTI meeting discussed the Terms of Reference and future work plan to elevate TFTI to the GMS Working Group on Trade and Investment.
