42nd Meeting of the GMS Tourism Working Group (TWG-42)

The Greater Mekong Subregion (GMS) Tourism Working Group will hold its 42nd meeting (TWG-42) on 4–5 December 2018 in Phu Quoc Island, Kien Giang Province, Viet Nam.
The meeting will review the implementation status of the GMS Tourism Sector Strategy 2018–2025, including priority tourism development programs and subregional tourism marketing programs. Progress of initiatives under the TWG work plan and key activities of the Mekong Tourism Coordinating Office (MTCO) for 2018 will also be reviewed. The meeting will also discuss the proposed work plan of the working group for 2019.
A closed meeting of the MTCO Board will discuss the status of the draft agreement to establish the MTCO as an intergovernmental organization.
A Steering Committee Meeting of the GMS Tourism Infrastructure for Inclusive Growth Project will review the progress of its implementation and key issues encountered in each of the participating countries.
