Project Description
This bridge will connect Amphoe Muang, Bungkane Province (Thailand) and Muong Paksan, Bolikhamxay Province (Lao PDR). It will facilitate transport of goods and passengers from northeastern Thailand to central Lao PDR and central Viet Nam via NR8.
Progress (as of March 2021)
Ongoing. The Cabinet approved the project on 4 June 2019. Construction Agreement signed on 14 June 2019. Both countries are preparing for construction. The project is under the procurement process.
