Project Description

Subproject 1 is part of a cluster TA envisaged as comprising three successive subprojects that will enhance transport and trade facilitation in GMS. The cluster TA seeks to bring about a subregion that is more integrated as a production base and market. Each subproject will be contributing to most of the 10 cluster outputs in a phased manner. The phased subprojects allow activities in subsequent subprojects to be fine tuned to the outcomes of preceding efforts, and to the evolving context of TTF initiatives as the countries implement the ASEAN economic community blueprint. The proposed subproject 1, for $2.0 million equivalent, will be implemented during 2011-2012.
