Project Description
The Project will promote the development of the tourism sector in the lower Mekong River basin. It will improve tourism-related infrastructure in Cambodia, Lao PDR, and Viet Nam (Greater Mekong Subregion (GMS) participating countries [GMSPC]), support pro-poor community based tourism projects in the rural areas of these countries, facilitate private sector participation in tourism marketing and promotion, establish mechanisms to increase subregional cooperation, and facilitate the movement of tourists across borders.
