Project Description
ADB is helping the Lao PDR and Viet Nam reduce economic losses resulting from floods and droughts. The project will combine upgrades in water- management infrastructure with community-based disaster risk management and enhanced regional forecasting to improve GMS disaster preparedness.
Progress (as of March 2021)
Proposed. Cofinancier sought. The Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry is planning to pursue this project with ADB support.
