The Greater Mekong Subregion (GMS) Tourism Working Group will hold its 42nd meeting (TWG-42) on 4–5 December 2018 in Phu Quoc Island, Kien Giang Province, Viet Nam.
The Greater Mekong Subregion (GMS) Tourism Working Group will hold its 42nd meeting (TWG-42) on 4–5 December 2018 in Phu Quoc Island, Kien Giang Province, Viet Nam.
With 70 brands of drinking water distributed in four provinces in the Lao People’s Democratic Republic (Lao PDR)—Vientiane Capital, Vientiane Province, Louangphabang, and Bolikhamxai—the private company Empire Water relies on its reputation of safety in producing and supplying quality bottled water to establishments, including hotels and restaurants.
An additional $2 million grant funding from the Climate Investment Fund–Technical Assistance Facility (CIF–TAF) was approved on 17 October 2021 by ADB. This grant will support green and resilient COVID-19 recovery in the GMS, covering Cambodia, Lao PDR, Thailand, and Viet Nam, through the CCESP TA. With this funding, the Climate Change and Environmental Sustainability Program (CCESP) will provide policy support, build institutional and technical capacities, and demonstrate innovative options to build back cleaner, greener, and more climate-resilient economies.
The first meeting of the Greater Mekong Subregion Working Group on Health Cooperation (WGHC-1) was held in Luang Prabang, Lao PDR on 13-14 December 2017.
